“San Antonio is one of the fastest growing cities in Texas due to its attractive job market. We are proud to inaugurate our second investment in this submarket and look forward to providing an exceptional neighborhood for our residents. said Steven Shores, president and CEO of RangeWater.

RangeWater Real Estate is breaking ground on the 154-unit townhouse project Caliza at the Loop, a Storia neighborhood located on 16.53 acres in San Antonio.

Caliza at the Loop is located on Texas State Highway Loop 1604, an outer freeway loop that circles the growing Texas metropolis, just a 12-minute drive from the airport, 20 minutes from downtown, and proximity to major employers such as USAA, HEB, Wells Fargo, Harland Clarke, JP Morgan, Rackspace Technology, as well as three military bases.

This will be RangeWater’s second community in San Antonio, but the first development from the ground up. Both properties in San Antonio are part of the Storia division of RangeWater, a platform actively deploying capital across the Sunbelt to provide single-family residential homes for construction.

On the 1604 San Antonio Loop, Caliza’s 154 townhomes will average 1,600 square feet with 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom floor plans. RangeWater plans first move-ins scheduled for May 2023.

“RangeWater is strategically expanding across the Sunbelt to meet strong housing demand,” said Steven Shores, President and CEO of RangeWater. “San Antonio is one of the fastest growing cities in Texas due to its attractive job market. We are proud to inaugurate our second investment in this submarket and look forward to providing an exceptional neighborhood for our residents.

Nick Wilhelmson, RangeWater’s General Manager for the Southwest, added, “Caliza at the Loop is located near some of San Antonio’s best schools and recreation areas. Our community will benefit from an impressive array of amenities, social programming, and high-quality designer finishes as part of our Storia build-to-rent platform.

Townhouse interiors will feature high-end finishes while common areas will include a clubhouse, fitness center, swimming pool with a deck and covered grilling area, playground and entertainment center. ‘business.

RangeWater’s first venture in San Antonio is a conversion of student housing into a single-family, build-to-rent neighborhood called Cottages at Leon Creek. Rental homes have found rapid rental success, Wilhelmson said.

Privately held RangeWater was founded in 2006. The company acquires, develops, manages and invests in multi-family communities across the Southeast and Southwest United States, with a $6.3 billion portfolio.

RangeWater launched its first Storia properties in Georgia and has more in development across the country, from Atlanta to Boulder, Colorado.
